Human Resources Directorate

Human Resources is the people apparatus of HIVE-13: it defines what roles exist, who is cleared to fill them, how new staff are inducted into a venom-handling, classified-pollinator environment, and how the workforce is kept healthy, certified, and safe. This is the Phase-5 index — the directorate map. Detailed per-role job descriptions are published separately under HV-HR in later phases.

What HR Owns

Architecture

Job Architecture & Hiring

Defines the role families, levels, and call-sign conventions across the directorate, and runs sourcing and selection for every posting — from apiary technicians to interdiction operators.

🔑Induction

Onboarding & Clearance

Carries each hire from signed offer through background vetting, the QUANTUM-ZONE-TASK-FORCE EYES-ONLY briefing, and biosecurity induction to first cleared day on the floor.

🎓Capability

Training & Certification

Owns the competency framework and renewal cadence for every certified role — sting protocol, containment, drone handling, and field doctrine. See the HIVE-13 Academy.

🩺Health

Wellbeing & Venom-Exposure Health

Runs the venom-exposure monitoring program, anaphylaxis readiness, and confidential support for field and lab staff. See Occupational Health.

Standards

Conduct & Culture

Holds the code of conduct, the two-person-rule culture, grievance channels, and the standards of behaviour that a classified pollinator-defense organization depends on.

Role Families

HIVE-13 staff are organized into role families, each with a clearance band that governs access to facilities, telemetry, and classified lines. Clearance is shown as the HCL access tier the family is typically cleared into, or a workforce band of Standard / Restricted / Royal-Jelly. Detailed per-role descriptions are published separately under HV-HR.

Onboarding Pathway

Every cleared hire follows the same standard onboarding and clearance sequence. No step is skipped; biosecurity induction and the venom medical gate first access to any handling environment.

Wellbeing & Safety

Working around venom is a managed hazard, not a tolerated one. HR runs continuous venom-exposure monitoring for all handling staff, maintains anaphylaxis readiness with staged antivenom and trained responders across every grid, and provides dedicated field-team support for operators returning from interdiction. A confidential channel is open to every staff member for health, conduct, or welfare concerns — no record reaches the line manager without consent. Review the Emergency Drill protocol and route conduct or compliance matters to Legal & Compliance.
